Mr. Magoo!

So in response to Lizzie's request for a post and story about Mr. Magoo, I figured that it's time for everyone else to be introduced to such a superstar. Well that's him, with the white face and shaggy mane, playing with his best friend Nate. They've known each other for 20 years and have developed the cutest friendship. Mr. Magoo is a 32 year old horse (very old for horses!) that lives at my farm, and he is fully retired professional babysitter and partier. Everyday, as long as the weather cooperates, Mr. Magoo's stall is opened and is he free to roam around the property, walk up and down the aisles of the barn, munch on some grass, visit his friends in the paddock, or even play with my coaches kids on their front lawn. His best friend is 4 year old Elizabeth who walks out to the field to tell Magoo about her day. In the summer, she'll sit and follow him for hours telling him all about her day, how great her princess shoes sparkle, and how she hates the potty and he must too. Mr. Magoo also loves to follow her around, or any small child for that manner, and he'll park himself with his front legs right infront of them as if he's the protector. Very cute, he's basically the mascot for my farm.

It's also great when new people come to the farm, because they'll run in panicked because there's a loose horse. It usually makes me laugh pretty hard because this geezer is going nowhere.
