The End of my Blog... And my Collarbone

So as most of you already know, I recently (recently as in a month ago) broke my collarbone from falling off Bella. Very upsetting for several reasons, but first I will tell you how exactly this happened.
We were in the middle of our bi-weekly jumper lessons, when we headed straight towards a fence, she took off and somehow got her front legs tangled between a pole. With one front leg infront of the pole and the other behind it, she ended up flipping over in the air, and her back legs came over her front. Since we were taking off for a fence, my body was in the forward jumping position, thus getting me LAUNCHED to the ground. When I landed, I heard a snap (my collarbone), looked behind me for flailing hooves and luckily she had landed about 10 feet behind me. I didn't get up, she got up eventually... we were both a mess!
Luckily the vet was there giving other horses their annual shots, so he gave Bella a muscle relaxant, so after a few days she was totally fine. I, on the other hand, have quite a few weeks to go.
So after finding out that my collarbone was indeed broken, my mobility was quite limited, to the point of not even being able to type! (hence the reason why I didn't post often, even though I was doing nothing at home... trust me, I wish I was able to do anything, including homework).
Anyways, my show season is shot... which sucks cause I've been working towards it for a year now... But it's okay, nothing I can do about it, so I might as well concentrate on healing!
Take care of yourselves, and keep those collarbones in tact!
